XX/XX/XXXX : I terminated my lease with Rental property owned by XXXX XXXX DBA XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. XX/XX/XXXX : I moved from property, signing lease with new company XX/XX/XXXX. Account at XXXX was paid in full at the time. I was told I owed nothing further by management of XXXX. XX/XX/XXXX : I find that I have a collections on my credit report. I reach out to management at XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. They send me a move out statement with multiple late fees, which I was told were waived, and for rent and utilities for XX/XX/XXXX. I gave notice that I was moving XX/XX/XXXX. I moved out in XXXX of XXXX, these should have never been charged for XXXX. I was told there was nothing that could be done since it was already sent to collections. XX/XX/XXXX : I find the collections removed from my XXXX and XXXX reports. Equifax was unavailable. XX/XX/XXXX or XX/XX/XXXX : I filed a complaint about this company with CFPB and my complaint was forwarded to the FTC. Nothing was done about this. My complaint is being ignored. The company continues to report inaccurate information and has refused to fix their accounting process. XX/XX/XXXX : I find that the collections has reappeared on equifax. I have disputed this 7 times. Each time it is verified as accurate. I have explained that I do not owe this because I did not reside there. I have explained that it is a mistake on behalf of the property management. XX/XX/XXXX : I reached out to property management, they will not return my calls. They have stated that it would be removed but have taken no actions regarding this. XX/XX/XXXX : I filed a complaint with CFPB about equifax. Equifax responded that they were investigating but have done nothing to remedy this situation.
