On XX/XX/2021 I paid off the remaining balance of my car in the amount of ( including their fees ) XXXX. The rep told me in the first week of XXXX, my info would be updated on my credit report. I had had a few late pmts reported due to difficulty during covid. Today it was reported still open, past due of 180 days, and on XXXX it showed a balance decrease of {$10.00}. I called the company and they did say the account was closed but said all they could do was send me paperwork to file a dispute with them.
