I am pleading for your help in getting this erroneous account removed from my credit reports : XXXX XXXX Account # XXXX. I have been disputing this account with the credit bureaus and creditor for over 1 year. Not only is this account not mine but it is also reporting completely inaccurately. Please see the attached snap shot from my credit report pulled on XX/XX/XXXX from XXXX XXXX showing how this inaccurate account is reporting on my credit report. How can the loan be reporting as opened with XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX and reporting as opened on XX/XX/XXXX on Equifax? How can the terms be " 12 months '' on XXXX and due weekly on Equifax? How is my high credit limit {$500.00} on XXXX with no credit limit reporting on Equifax? How is the date last reported on XXXX XX/XX/XXXX but on Equifax its XX/XX/XXXX? How is the date last active on XXXX XX/XX/XXXX when its reporting as XX/XX/XXXX on Equifax? The account is reporting as charged off on XXXX from XXXX XXXX XXXX but was reported as a charge off on Equifax starting in XXXX XXXX XXXX and now is reporting in good status??? I have even spoken to representatives from XXXX who stated that they never received any verification that this account belonged to me but simply received a letter from XXXX to " Leave the account on my report '' How is this fairness in reporting?? How can this possibly be accurate reporting? Per CFPB 's own website " The federal Fair Credit Reporting Act ( FCRA ) promotes the accuracy, fairness, and privacy of information in the files of consumer reporting agencies. '' There is nothing fair or accurate about the reporting of this account and it should not only be deleted immediately but I should be entitled to remedy as is my right as a consumer for the year that I have fought to remove this accurately reporting account. This is clearly willful negligence on behalf of both XXXX and Equifax. Per the CFPB website : " Consumer reporting agencies must correct or delete inaccurate, incomplete, or unverifiable information. Inaccurate, incomplete, or unverifiable information must be removed or corrected ... '' This information is completely inaccurate, incomplete and unverifiable and it should be deleted IMMEDIATELY.
