Tried to apply for a Capital One card ( under a pre-approved email ) to expand my credit portfolio and they declined due to " the applicant has been reported as deceased ''. I contacted all 3 bureaus as instructed on the back of the Adverse Action letter along with XXXX XXXX and no one has me documented as deceased. I also, contacted the Social Security office here locally and Nationally and no one has me reported as deceased. I called Capital One and they said they would investigate it if I were to mail in a complaint letter along with any reports and letters I received from the different reporting agencies. Because of this issue I can not purchase a car, home, rent an apt or home, obtain more credit cards to improve my credit score, which by the way, I brought from no score to a XXXX in a matter of a few months. I believe this all started with XXXX XXXX and the 2nd round of the Paycheck Protection Program when they got the 1st 5 numbers of my ssn backwards?
