XX/XX/2021 we purchased a new XXXX XXXX from XXXX ( Georgia ) XXXX. Added to price of the car on the contract with NMAC was a charge of {$900.00} for GAP insurance. We did not know this until XX/XX/2021 when we went back to the dealer to get copies of our contract. They had provided us a computer chip which our computer would not open. When we got the copies of the contract we asked the dealer to correct this and delete the {$900.00} charge for the GAP insurance. Since we had paid {$10000.00}. down on the car we did not need the GAP insurance. They told us to contact NMAC, Nissan Motor Acceptance Corporation. We contacted NMAC and they told us they would credit the {$900.00}. to our account at the end of the contract, they stated they did not want to rewrite the contact. We thought it should be credited to us so our payments would be less. They said no. We have contacted the dealer and visited with them 3 times since we purchased the car and they fail to give us any proof that they are going to refund the $ XXXX.We have notified and followed up several times with NMAC and they still have not refunded the money to our contract. About 2 weeks ago a credit of {$410.00}. was made to our account, we asked what it was for and was told that maybe someone made a mistake and thought it was {$900.00}. Even I know the difference between $ XXXX.and {$900.00}. I have had enough of wrangling with this matter and would like to have some help from you. Today is XX/XX/2021.
