Kohls credit card is stating that I made a charge of {$14.00} on XX/XX/XXXX. I did not authorize this transaction. I moved to a new address and never received a bill for this transaction. They have now reported this as 30 day late on my credit bureau, reducing my credit score by XXXX points. When I contacted them to understand why my account was reported in error, they initially told me there was not a problem and no late payment. Now they are stating that I did not pay the {$14.00} charge which was due on XX/XX/XXXX. They initially didnt charge a late fee but since they didnt get a payment on XX/XX/XXXX, they charged a {$15.00} late fee and reported the account 30 days late. They have now placed the transaction in dispute and waived the fee but stated they are unable to reverse the credit reporting. In the midst of this, I moved to a new address in XXXX and thought this account was at XXXX balance. As a result, I have not received a bill for this transaction and didnt know it needed to be disputed until the inaccurate reporting. I would like my credit bureau cleared immediately.
