Consumer Narrative

Good Afternoon, I have been in contact with the Lending Club since Monday XXXX XXXX regarding a full refund of a loan that was prematurely given to a dental office before service had been completed. The loan was for {$2900.00} was thought to be ok. I had some minor work to prepare for the Dental Implant that the loan was applied for and gave the dentist office {$1000.00} payment to cover those services. A few days later I received a denial letter in the mail, so I was thinking I had to come up with another plan to cover the Implant in 4 months after my jaw and gums heal. After the dentist office broke my trust lying about a secondary grant that I had tried to apply for I called off all services with this dental office. I asked for a final Bill and found out on XX/XX/21 that the Lending Club had already released all the funds to the dental offices. When I asked for the funds to be returned the Dental office presented a Fraudulent Bill that was highly inflated so they can pocket my money with no regard to my original treatment and actually was was performed XX/XX/21. XXXX and XXXX at the Lending Club are also failing to recognize what was done and acknowledge the Fraudulent bill from the dentist office. There has to be protection and verification that the funds released are what was actually performed on the customers side before releasing of such funds. I didn't worry about this at first because of the denial letter received in XXXX, but the whole time the dentist office had my funds. The Lending club is refusing to give me a full refund after review of all the documents presented to them and refuse to question the dental offices integrity that the do business with on a daily basis because these offices steer loans an large amounts of funds to the Lending Club and I am only one little number. Uploaded ( attached ) is a copy of my treatment plan for which I have XXXX done, XXXX XXXX, and a iXXXX XXXXl. All service are covered by my {$1000.00} prepayment for a total of {$850.00}. So the Lending Club should be demanding the complete amount of {$2900.00} back from there respective business partner. I should not be caught in the middle and this clearly should have broken some consumer protection laws with the way this has been handled. Again a was send a Letter ( attached ) of denial from the Lending Club so no funds should have ever been sent to the dental office and they should clearly be responsible for getting the funds back. Secondary, some more consumer laws are probably broken for not verifying the invoices or paperwork turned into them is not Fraudulent but is what the customer actually got done if they are to release funds on future customers. They have a lot of consumer complaints on the Web ( XXXX ). Finally I feel as though I am in the middle of some sort of Predatory Lending Practice that there is not fix for and the Lending Club is allowing there business partner to Steal Money from me on Lending Clubs behave. I am ultimately responsible for my credit score and Lending Club, not verifying services and releasing of funds either before or after getting a denial letter ( attached ) These practices are not consumer friendly and I need a full credit to zero out my loan. Thank You
