Received this notification from Discover Bank that I have an option to limit my privacy from Discover by calling their customer service at XXXX XXXX. I called Discover and asked them to limit my sharing with other affiliates. The respondent asked me an entourage of questions - My social security number, my verbal password, mother 's maiden name and then my name. She said that I have been opted out of Discover bank sharing my information with its affiliates but refused to provide me any kind of confirmation. Please see the notice attached. Now tomorrow if Discover do share my information I have no proof that I called them to discontinue sharing my information and this is bizarre and a fraud.
