Two different collection agencies are attempting to collect {$1000.00} for an XXXX account. This was satisfied in XX/XX/XXXX and XXXX and both agencies were informed. In XX/XX/XXXX, I entered into a short-term loan with XXXX to purchase furniture. The terms of the loan were " 90 days, same as cash '' terms. I believed that if I paid off the loan in 90 days, I would not be charged interest. XXXX guaranteed those terms to me and purchased the furniture ( one mattress set and a couch, totaling about {$1000.00} ). I was required to pay about {$130.00} towards the " furniture loan '' up front. Terms also included automatic payments of {$180.00} beginning XX/XX/XXXX and on the XXXX day of each month, thereafter. In XX/XX/XXXX, I called XXXX and asked why I had not received any email from them regarding the payments and remaining balance. In late XX/XX/XXXX, I had made 2 full payments and yet was not informed of any remaining balance. I believed that my balance should have been about {$580.00} but no one at XXXX would inform me in writing. I also asked for an extension of the 90 day-terms to pay off the loan and was told over the phone that I could continue to pay on the loan. A total of {$1100.00} was collected for this loan that was satisfied in XX/XX/XXXX- actually overpaid the account. In XX/XX/XXXX, I was informed by XXXX XXXX that ROZLIN FINANCIAL GROUP L and XXXX XXXX XXXX are attempting to collect on this same account that was satisfied in XXXX. Both companies report this to all three credit bureaus.
