Well this is about the bank being told about a Person who committed mortgage fraud with them. And Even with all the information you would need to open and close an investigation in less then days if you included filing paper work. Umpqua Bank did not start any investigation into it. XXXX $ owner occupied HELOC were the owner was already closing on their new more expensive home on XX/XX/XXXX and the Heloc Closed XX/XX/XXXX. had new tenants in XX/XX/XXXX and still reside their and owner is 1 mile away. Told Umpqua who does not offer ANY income property loans the loan number and all information stated here. told them new tenants name and the person who committed the fraud is a commercial loan officer for another bank and full aware of the repercussions if institutions cared about white collar crime. But no investigation or effort. But everywhere I look is an article about stopping fraud?
