Consumer Narrative

I closed my existing mortgage with LoanDepot on XX/XX/2021 ( statement attached ). As per the payoff statement dated XX/XX/2021 ( attached ) interest was due only if repaid on or after XX/XX/2021. Hence the payoff amount should be {$760000.00} i.e. principal only.of {$760000.00} and recording fee of {$51.00}. However in the statement LoanDepot has charged me XXXX as the payoff amount i.e. excess of {$180.00}. When asked 4-5 times and after spending 2 hours they are unable to explain the excess charge. Request your assistance in resolving the matter
