Starting around early XXXX myself and my boyfriend began receiving calls from a number marked as " Account Services '' on caller ID. Once I understood that they were debt collectors from Trans World Systems Inc I told them to stop calling my boyfriend. They said they would and even put me on hold under the pretence that they were removing his number from my account. They did not stop calling him though and have called him numerous times since then. I am filing a complaint because, according to a representative from the cfpb, who I spoke to on XX/XX/XXXX, they are not allowed to repeatedly call someone other than myself in regards to my debt, especially being that my boyfriend is not related to me or legally bound to me. He and I feel harassed by Trans World Systems Inc 's repeated calls to him. We are also frustrated that they continue to call after I asked them not to and they told me they would. Additionally, when I answer calls from this company they quickly transfer me to another call center, and the person who answers there always asks me why I am calling them... this is extremely frustrating as I am routinely transferred around from call center to call center. This business practice makes them come across as scammers and when they first started calling me I was unable to figure out what the call was even about. I was wary to provide them with any of the identifying information they asked for as this business practice seemed suspect and I was concerned about identity theft. This led me to have a prolonged debt, which likely hurt my credit score further and led me to feel afraid and threatened.
