Some company called Autovest LLC sent me a letter about a debt I dont owe and hinted that they would take legal action if I didnt pay them. Upon investigating this company, they have a habit of filing XXXX and hundreds of lawsuits in order to obtain default judgments and then garish wages. Im not sure how this practice is legal. I gave back a car years ago and I made a deal with the VP at the finance company to give it back and the debt would be cleared. I havent heard a peep about this car in years and then I get this threatening letter from this unscrupulous company. The letter was dated XXXX. I voluntarily gave back the car in XXXX I believe.
