It all started with a credit repair agency by the name of XXXX. They were supposed to settle with several creditors. In the end they only settled with two. I was told by them that they had found a company that would pay off all the creditors that they were unable to settle with. The next thing I know it was Cash Call that supposedly paid off {$18000.00} to creditors. I did not owe that much. The payments were so high and me and my family are struggling. I called and spoke to a representative and explained my situation. The original pay was for $ XXXX, and now it's {$400.00}, like that is some help. I explained that I was on a new job making less money. I will be paying this amount until 2025. All the creditors that was supposed to be paid went into charge-offs. I can't understand if that is the case what am I paying Cash Call for other than a mean nasty deal that got. I have read that XXXX and Cash Call are in the same building in XXXX XXXX, CA. I feel I'm being preyed upon by this lender. I don't think they will free me from this ill-gotten loan on their part. Thanks for any advice or help.
