I received a notice from my XXXX account about a collection being reported to my credit report on XX/XX/XXXX. I attempted to contact the company, Paragon Revenue Group, on XX/XX/XXXX, as I had received no notification about this debt. I called the number listed for the company on the XXXX collections notice, because I did not have any paperwork from this company about a debt. The person I spoke to immediately asked for my social security security number, when I refused to supply it she got hostile. I attempted to call back and speak to someone else. Second rep asked for my social security number again, when I refused to give it to her she asked for my account number. I explained I do not have an account number because I had not received any information about this debt. She then hung up. I called back asked for a manager, I was put on hold and hung up on again. I filed a XXXX complaint. Through the complaint the company 's response was that I would receive formal notice of the collect attempt. Since XX/XX/XXXX, this company has filed 2 notices of non-payment, and 2 notices of account in collections to my XXXX credit report. The original amount listed on my credit report for the debt was {$150.00}, now it is {$300.00}. I still have not received any formal notice from this company.
