I noticed today on XX/XX/21 that I had a negative mark on my credit report from a collection agency called GLA Collection Company. One, I have never received anything in the mail form this company validating that this is a debt that belongs to me. Two, I have never received any calls from this company before they decided to place this on my credit. The original owner of this debt is XXXX XXXX XXXX and I have tried to call them multiple times to let them know that this fee doesn't belong to me. Before I left there property I spoke with the manager and was informed that there were many roommates in our apartment and I wasn't going to have to pay this. Regardless, this derogatory mark was placed on my credit report on XX/XX/21 and I consider it threatening and extreme harassment of my emotional and financial well being to do this without even a single attempt at contact written or otherwise. If this is not closed and removed from my credit report, because I was told I would not have to pay it, I will take legal action.
