I first heard from Merchants Credit Bureau , Inc. from a letter dated XX/XX/XXXX which stated I have a balanced owed of {$8300.00} and it was due immediately. I have no knowledge of any balance due to XXXX XXXX XXXX, so I sent a debt verification letter via Certified Mail to address this letter. Now I have received a new letter dated XX/XX/XXXX with a new balance due of {$7000.00} stating XXXX in debt with XXXX in interest and XXXX in attorney fees. Included in the letter is a copy of my previous lease that ended XX/XX/XXXX. There is no verification of what is actually owed and why it is owed. The amount due is changing and the company is failing to provide me with documentation for the charges. They have put it on my credit report that I owe XXXX which is highly incorrect and damaging my credit score.
