I applied for a small business credit card thru Capital One. I was emailed by the company requesting documents to verify my SSN and ID. I sent these via a portal. I receive a letter saying the documents were not sufficient. I called, was told what the prior documents were lacking ; so I uploaded additional documents, with the specified information. My application time period was about to expire and I had not received any notifications. I waited 3.5 hrs on the phone waiting to talk to someone. 4 representatives gave me different answers as to what was wrong with my application and I'm still not sure what the actual problem was. However, the 5th representative admitted that I was not sent a notification the second time, to let me know the company still did not think I had submitted adequate documentation. They admitted that without knowing my application was incomplete, my application time would have expired. They RAN MY CREDIT but were not going to let me properly apply for the credit card. They did not say there was any process in place to fix this oversight. And, they would not give me another link, thru which to upload additional documents.
