A company unknown to me placed a medical collection on my credit report. I am not a resident in the state of the medical center. I have not traveled to the state where the medical center is located. I am employed in my state of residence and carry medical insurance through my employer. I do not have family in the state where this medical center is located. I do not suspect fraud, rather I suspect this is an administrative error where my SS # is being reported to in error. I contacted the agency on my credit bureau report. Unfortunately, they were not able to assist me as they do NOT have an account in their office with my name. I was told due to privacy laws they could not disclose information about any debt. I offered my social security number to which they advised my name is not in their system and they could not speak to me. This debt does not belong to me. Please perform a thorough investigation to determine the same.
