On XX/XX/2021, I wrote Experian a dispute letter asking them to verify a bankruptcy that is listed on my credit report. Experian then responded back to my dispute letter on XX/XX/XXXX via the Experian online platform and stated that the company that reported the information has certified to Experian that the information is accurate. I went to the United States Bankruptcy Court in XXXX, NJ and verified with XXXX XXXX, Case Manager Supervisor via a written letter that they do not share or furnish information to the credit bureaus. I wrote Experian another dispute letter on XX/XX/2021 and XX/XX/2021 asking them to remove the bankruptcy due to inaccuracies which are damaging my credit report as they have falsely and illegally verified the bankruptcy. Experian responded back to me on XX/XX/2021 via the Experian online platform indicating that According to the Fair Credit Reporting Act, our role in the dispute process is to review the accuracy and completeness of any disputed item which may include contacting the furnisher of the information or the vendor that collected the information from a public record source, and notifying them of the dispute and disclosing all relevant information regarding your dispute. When we contact the furnisher or vendor, we ask that they verify all of the information regarding the item you disputed and report back within 30 days of the date that we received your request ( 21 days for Maine residents ). I then heard back from them again on XX/XX/2021 via the Experian online platform of which they provided me with my dispute results as the company that reported the information has certified to Experian that the information is accurate. Experian has illegally re-verified AND illegally claimed the bankruptcy as accurate, however I froze all third party bureaus on XX/XX/2021 ( it would be impossible to verify the bankruptcy remark when all of my third party bureaus are frozen. )
