We have Penny Mac as our Mortgage lender. For about a year, we were making half of the mortgage payment twice a month. Our Mortgage payment was just over {$2800.00} a month and every two weeks, we were paying half. Once the month was compleyed, our mortgae total was paid. However, Penny mac said that we were only paying half of the mortgage and the other half was going directly to principal. We talked to Penny Mac on many occasions trying to get this sorted out and for them to correct the " delinquent '' payments status. We were told this was company policy and there was nothing that can be done. After many attempts, we reached out to another creditor for assistance. While this process was going on, they informed us not to make a payment. This went on for 5 months. We contacted the credetor multiple times to see if any progress was made and we were told that the lawyers were still working on a solution. We believed that this creditor was not going to help us and canceled the service with no resolution. We worked diligently to get caught up and to ensure we were not late on another payment. For over a year now, we have not been late on the house payment. We are currently selling the current house and and looking for another. This unjustified reporting from Penny Mac is preventing us to get approved for another payment. I hope there is somthing that your company can do to either help or at least point us in the right direcrion.
