On XXXX XXXX XXXX my debit cards were stolen and used to withdraw {$1000.00} and {$700.00}, totaling {$1700.00} from 2 different Wells Fargo accounts. I don't know who this person was or how they were able to withdraw money from an ATM. I immediately reported fraud to Wells Fargo within a few hours of noticing the withdrawal. Wells Fargo denied my fraud claim. I escalated the claim and it was denied again. Wells Fargo is not honoring their anti-fraud statement that says we are not liable for purchases made without our consent or authority. I filed a police report. Why would I file a police report if this was an authorized withdrawal?
