Consumer Narrative

Dear Consumer Finance Protections Agency staff, I took a VA house loan with Veterans United Home Loan company. XXXX XXXX was my loan officer. The first thing he did without my authorization was to pull my credit scores. I addressed this with their client relations/XXXX XXXX. She admitted that XXXX XXXX should have never pulled my credit scores and she listened to the phone recording between XXXX and me. The final thing that XXXX XXXX did was to change my APR and money that was due back to me at the closing of my house loan. Ms. XXXX, an attorney, sent a letter ( XX/XX/2021 ) asking for an explanation of why XXXX XXXX took it upon himself to make financial decisions on my behalf, without my knowledge, and at the end of the closing. I had received an email on XX/XX/XXXX after XXXX XXXX EST that my APR and money due back to me had changed. XXXX XXXX, who is a client relations manager responded back to Ms. XXXX with excuses and acknowledgment that the loan officer ( XXXX XXXX ) made decisions that impacted my loan, by email on XX/XX/2021. I asked for the higher APR of XXXX because it allowed me to receive money back at my closing. I was able to claim my VA house inspection, termite inspection, VA appraisal, and earnest money. This equated to {$1900.00} back to me upon closing per the terms I agreed upon. I never asked for a lower APR -- I understand how compound interest works and that I was going to make larger payments towards my loan principal. I did not need to buy a lower APR. I am educated on how compound interest works. In the end, I did not get back {$1900.00} due to me, I received {$1000.00}, instead of what was due to me at my closing. I would like this matter investigated. It is not feasibly economical to continue with legal counsel. I don't want this matter to ever happen to another person. I will supply all documents as needed to support my claim. Thank you. XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX
