Hello, I am seeking help against Experian.com for negligence in allowing an unnamed person to gain access to my Experian credit account. Sometime in XX/XX/XXXX, someone was able to change my email address and password. Several attempts were made to obtain credit in my name. Thankfully, no credit was extended to this individual. Experian.com did not notify me of this change, and I have had to deal with the resulting fallout. This appears to be the result of a data breach into Experian inXX/XX/XXXX. 15 million Americans have been affected by this date breach. If fact the conversations I have had with their customer service department were, in my opinion, unsatisfactory and their attitude towards me were rude. I asked Experian.com to help me fight this identity theft and they have refused. Despite my repeated requests, they continue to allow the identity thief access to my personal financial information and social security number. I have been living in the XXXX for the past 19 months, and quite frankly want to stay here. Sadly, with the constant threat of someone gaining access to my bank account, someone has already tried, I have decided I have to return to the United States. This negligence by Experian.com has caused me a great deal of stress and extreme mental duress. I suffer from XXXX, I have XXXX XX/XX/XXXX, and with the constant fear of someone ruining my credit and my life, I am suffering.
