In XXXX XXXX XXXX was the servicer of our mortgage. We aske for a modification in XXXX of XXXX so that we could us that money to catch up on some debt due to covid. we were allowed to not pay for XXXX, XXXX, and XXXX of XXXX. The modification was to roll these payments to the end of our load. We signed and notarized the modification paperwork and sent it in. In XXXX we were sent notice that our loan had been sold to a different servicer call BSI. We maintained paying our loan which I have the bank statements to prove, but since the modification wasn't completed by XXXX XXXX, even thought we signed the paper work and sent it back to XXXX XXXX. it has been almost a year waiting for BSI to get the account cleared up. I have received a loan statement dated XX/XX/XXXX that states I owe {$11000.00} in back payments. They have my account listed on their website as being behind 224 days, and they have reported to the credit bureaus twice that I am 120 days behind. Causing our credit average to drop nearly 100 points. I have contacted them by phone and e-mail to try and get them to stop the modification process and let me refi since the rates are now lower than what they are giving. Since they have reported my " late '' payment I will not be able to qualify for a refi because of there predatory attitude to my account. I would like some help in clearing this account knowing where the account balance is, so that I can refi with a company more reliable then BSI.
