I had enrolled with experian back in XXXX, my credit score was at XXXX in XXXX, it may have been XXXX, I was informed by experian that their servers were hacked, as a result my credit dropped to a reported 4. I have been going back and forth with them ever since on the matter. My credit was back in the green ( XXXX ) as of XX/XX/XXXX at roughly XXXX, around that time I submitted an inquiry to experian as to why they have been unable to provide my credit score, nor been able to for a number of months. I paid wise credit report and they were able to provide all 3 in a matter of seconds. I included this information in my email to experian backing up my complaint as to why other credit companies, as well as my credit union can provide my score but experian consistently is unable. A few hours after sending my email to experian I went online with XXXX XXXX for my credit score and most current, I had a review done 2 weeks previously. My credit went from a XXXX to XXXX in a matter of hours.I do not understand how my score could have dropped 51 points that quickly. My wife and I are trying to buy a home and I do understand any hard pull can lower a credit score by a couple of points when a credit check is ran. My previous inquiry with experian lowered my credit 10 points, I had no other inquiries on my credit at that particular point and time at all. Now after asking experian for an explanation, my credit was reduced drastically. I have talked with friends who have the same app and have learned a few of them have had the same or similar issue as well when they have made a complaint/inquiry and seen their credit decline. I am registering my complaint on this matter to other watch dog companies as well.
