The company called XXXX XXXX XXXX, a XXXX XXXX entity, marketed a credit builder installment loan to improve my credit. I paid all payments on time and it shows up on my credit as not paid in full with a balance. They also encouraged consumers to get a credit card in connection to this account. When I completed the 12 month program, they closed my accounts. This hurt my credit in two ways : ( 1 ) Closed account status and ( 2 ) incomplete installment payments. I intend on filing a civil complaint against them if not corrected immediately. SELF engages in deceptive and unfair credit reporting practices.
