Credit Collection Services also known as CCS is violating the FDCPA laws by incorrectly reporting inaccurate derogatory information to my credit report. The company is reporting I owe them money. Ive never had any business or any accounts w/CCS. I was never notified by mail, or by phone of this debt. I received a collection notification and called CCS. I spoke w/XXXX, who confirmed the address on file was incorrect and not updated. We confirmed that the amounts being reported of {$58.00}. Is not correct. The actual amount they have a request for is XXXX. I informed XXXX that I had no knowledge of the debt and that I can resolve issue w/fair opportunity. I asked XXXX, due to him verifying the wrong address is on his file, the wrong amounts is being reported, and that I had no knowledge and willing to resolve could this derogatory information be removed. XXXX refused and escalated me to XXXX, a XXXX supervisor. XXXX, also confirmed the address they had on file was wrong. She confirmed that they tried to call a number on file but was NOT able to reach a person. She confirmed that I had no account or business w/Credit collection services. She said that they were a debt collection agency and that the company I actually owe is XXXX XXXX. She said theyre are 2 collections. One for XXXX and another for {$50.00}. I exclaimed to XXXX, that the information they were reporting was incorrect and that I had no knowledge of any debt or money owed. I advised XXXX of my correct number. I also educated XXXX, that my FDCPA rights were being violated because CCS were violating the FDCPA laws.1. I never received notification of debt which prevented me from being able to have a fair opportunity to pay balance Im presumed to have owed. 2. They are reporting the incorrect amounts that I owe to XXXX. 3. XXXX, told me the only way their willing to update my file and remove this derogatory, inaccurate reporting is that I send in proof of my personal address. Thats a violation of my privacy rights. I have no account w/CCS. 4. CCS is reporting the derogatory information to my credit report 3x in the month of XXXX. She still refused to remove this inaccurate reporting. I also spoke w/a manager by the name of XXXX. She was very rude and condescending. I advised her that I contacted the company I question and that the monies owed have been resolved w/XXXX XXXX. She has still chose to violate FDCPA laws and not remove this derogatory report thats inaccurate and I also was never given knowledge of.
