In XXXX/XX/XX/2021, I re-financed my my home mortgage. When the refinanced closed, XXXX XXXX listed the mortgage as " closed. '' It was not stipulated that the loan was paid and closed in good standing. As a result of the closed phrasing, my credit score went down several points. I called XXXX XXXX to tell them they neglected to accurately categorize the note to the credit reporting agencies. XXXX XXXX said they'd go back and note the account was " paid in full and closed by customer. '' However, when XXXX XXXX reported to the credit agencies, they again noted the account was " closed. '' As a result, my credit report took another hit and went decreased further ( went down 10 points -- XX/XX/XXXX ). I called XXXX XXXX back again and again complained. On the 3rd occasion, they did contact the reporting bureaus and accurately disclosed the account was paid and closed. However, as a result of XXXX XXXX 's categorization of my refinance, the my credit score went down over 20 points with the credit reporting bureaus through no fault of my own.
