Inadvertently posted an incorrect mortgage payment. My husband made our regular payment to penny mac. This mortgage pmt. was posted to penny mac XX/XX/2021 in the amount of {$1400.00} Unfortunately, the full payment due was {$1400.00} leaving the payment short {$19.00} I was made aware of this error on XX/XX/XXXX. This was a human error which I feel should be forgiven. I am devastated my 100 % payment history with all of my creditors is now 99 % costing me 70 points drop in credit score! I have reported my concerns to penny mac as well as XXXX XXXX the investigation result is verified as accurate. I am not satisfied with this result. The past due amount should reflect the amount that was past due which is {$19.00} not the full payment of XXXX " past due '' means past due. My credit report reads past due : XXXX, XXXX. My payment is XXXX XXXX and where do they get this amount from????? This is also incorrect. If they can't grant me one forgiveness I would like my report to adjusted correctly. ' PAST DUE XXXX ''.
