I owned a XXXX treadmill and received a recall notice that indicated I could return the treadmill for child safety reasons for a full refund. The unit was secured from my residence on XX/XX/2021 from XXXX employees. XXXX indicated that I would receive a refund {$5000.00} within 7-10 business days. It is now XX/XX/XXXX and I have only received 50 % of my return via check. I was directed to contact Affirm which processes payments on behalf of XXXX and they indicated that they returned the payment to my credit card. I have indicated to them over the last several months that the payment needed to be returned via check as the credit card associated with this account was closed. They are not able to make this distinction or resolve how to transition a payment from the closed account to make it in the form of a check and send it to me. I have made over 10 calls to Affirm to resolve this issue and has included each time communication with a supervisor who is also unable to finally resolve this issue. Each employee continues to read from a script and is not able to find the appropriate solution which is to simply send me a check representing the remaining balance that is owed as agreed.
