A purchase was made using my SSN for a pair of XXXX shoes and some sort of line of credit or loan was taken out with Affirm loans, for {$780.00} in XX/XX/XXXX. I received the goods and sent them back to the company on XX/XX/XXXX and provided a return receipt to Affirm. I've confirmed with them this loan was not mine. The date of birth on file and phone number and name I use was different than the application completed. After becoming aware of the dispute, Affirm sold the debt to XXXX XXXX XXXX, which is a violation of the FCRA and FDCPA regulations. I sent a complete fraud packet to both companies including a police report, proof of my ID, and an ID Theft Affidavit for them to investigate. As of XX/XX/XXXX, XXXX XXXX has advised that this debt was validated by Affirm. I was not told based on what information they are deeming this valid and the goods have been returned. I would like this debt removed from my credit report as it is not mine.
