I deposited {$4500.00} in a Wells Fargo online bank account on XX/XX/XXXX. The bank indicated the funds would be available on XX/XX/XXXX. The funds were available on XX/XX/XXXX. I made one bill payment of about {$150.00} on XX/XX/XXXX. OnXX/XX/XXXX, I received a message stating my funds were on hold due to repeated overdrafts in the last 6 months. I have not had a Wells Fargo account for over 8 years and even so did not have repeated overdrafts. I called WF to resolve, but after almost an hour, I was told there was nothing I could do. I would have to wait 7 days before the funds would be released. Under privacy rules, WF should have accurate data, and if not, I should be able to know the source of the data and any incorrect data being corrected. The rep at WF told me she did not know where the information about repeated overdrafts came from.
