I paid {$33000.00} down payment for a mortgage on a townhome in XXXX to NVR mortgage. My fiance purchased a unit two doors down. Last week after closing. I was told that me and my fiance were living in the same building and they wanted to make sure I wasn't going to rent out my townhome and delayed my closing. They assumed I was going to this even though we told them that this was going to be my primary residence. NVR mortgage wanted me to sign a motivation document that said I was not going to rent out the property because of this. I asked where other people told to sign this paper or was my fiance told to sign this paper. The answer was no. I did not sign the paper because it wasn't a required document. I have not been approved or denied my mortgage for the townhome that I tried to get as of today. My home today on XX/XX/XXXX was listed on XXXX as up for sale. I have still not been approved or denied from the lender. If I was denied I should have the right to go find other lenders as NVR was the preferred lender. I assume the lender told XXXX XXXX that I was not going to get the property and they could put it up for sale on XXXX. I feel like I have been discriminated against due to my marital status and black balled from getting the property due to the connection NVR and XXXX XXXX have.
