I had an FHA loan with XXXX Bank. I sold the home. Loan was paid off and closing on XX/XX/XXXX. On XX/XX/XXXX I received a check from TIAA Bank dated XX/XX/XXXX for {$940.00} for misapplication reversal. Please see attached. The check was void after 90 days, however, I didn't receive the check till 5 months after it was dated. I attempted to cash the check and it bounced. I attempted to call TIAA Bank but there mortgage business no longer exists. There was no one to talk to, just automated messages. The call eventually transfers to XXXX who now services TIAA Loans. Once again there is no actual person to talk to at XXXX, it's just automated messages. Since there was no one to talk to, I wrote TIAA Bank a letter on XX/XX/XXXX. In the letter I requested to file a complaint. I have not received a response.
