I have been paying on my Capital One account for over two years although it is reported as closed. Each month after making my scheduled automatic payment, my balance of {$2400.00} continues to be erroneously reported as the same although there is a statement in my email and on my credit reports that states the balance is updated on the XXXX of each month. However, the balance has not been updated in over six months or more. Therefore, I am attaching my payment schedule which reflects that I have XXXX payments of {$94.00} and one payment of {$94.00} left to pay off the balance as of XX/XX/22 which totals {$1400.00}. This is a difference of {$1000.00} which will make a difference in my total debt to income ratio on my three credit reports. In addition, it is important to have this balance reported correctly because it negatively impacts my credit score especially when I am in the process of purchasing a home.
