Consumer Narrative
My original loan was through XXXX XXXX, but this year when they got " out of the student loan '' business, they sold it to FirstMark Services a division of Nelnet. I requested a deferment/forbearance in XXXX and never heard back. I was able to make a double payment that month so all was XXXX. However, this month when my bill came I was like " XXXX '' cause they said they were putting in my forbearance request. I tried to call for 6 hours off and on but the number kept disconnecting. Finallly I got through to someone and he couldn't tell me what happened.
