Back in XX/XX/2021, XXXX XXXX XXXX kept calling me about an issue and I was like why are you all constant calling me I don't have any products or credit cards with you. Come to find out my old roommate had got an account in my name.. I ask XXXX XXXX XXXX what I could do about just paying it because I was ready for this mess to be off my credit file. I was going through XXXX at the time. They instructed me pay the agreed amount and they would mark the account as fraud account and have account updated and removed from all three credit bureaus, and would possibly refund money back to me for the pmt. They never refunded me or removed account, they updated but never removed account. They scammed me out of the money by agreeing to remove this account.
