On XXXX the XXXX 2021 I filed a complaint with CFPB on XXXX XXXX XXXX and Equifax. Here is the complaint number : XXXX. In this complaint I asked Equifax to provide me with proof they claim they have that legally validates the debt between me and XXXX XXXX XXXX. Equifax went on record on XX/XX/XXXX and said they had received additional information from the original creditor that validated the debt. ( See bottom of form Equifax 3-3 ) What XXXX XXXX XXXX had provided had not legally validated this debt so Equifax said they had additional information from the original XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX that validated this debt. I have requested numerous times from Equifax to see this alleged proof. Equifax sent me a letter with the same information that is on the attached form. This is not the information I requested. They have yet to provide me with this alleged proof from XXXX XXXX they claim to have that legally validates this debt. What is in the attachment does not even meet the CFPB standards of debt validation. I filed a complaint with the SC Attorney Generals office against XXXX Funding for not providing me legal proof of this debt. I attached the File ( Equifax Dispute 3-3, and what XXXX XXXX was claiming validated this debt. ( Resurgent reply 1 ) to the complaint and the SC Attorney Generals office even agreed that neither of those 2 forms meet the legal burden of proof to validate this debt. I want Equifax to provide me what the Evidence they went on record saying they had that legally validated this debt between me and XXXX XXXX XXXX I have asked Equifax numerous times to supply me with this alleged evidence. I have a legal right to see it. I know that the CFPB is not going to make Equifax show me this evidence even though I have a legal right to see it. I am filing this complaint so I have more evidence to substantiate my compliant against Equifax that I filed with the Georgia Attorney Generals office. Equifax has claimed that they have had this evidence since XX/XX/XXXX ( See bottom of form Equifax dispute 3-3 ). They have yet to provide me with it. They went on record and said they had additional information from the Original Creditor XXXX XXXX XXXX that substantiated XXXX XXXX XXXX claim that this debt is valid. I wan to see this evidence. I have asked Equifax numerous to produce it and they still have not.
