So recently I had visited a Retail Store as I was shopping & attempted to purchase I was ask by store associate if I was interested in applying for their store retail card ( not credit card visa/master card ) if approve receive additional discount. I also asked if this would be soft or hard card? It was explained that Id recently applied & approved for three card lines ( drops points/hard credit checks ) after accepting credit. Also told told about previous creditor that misrepresent & given inaccurate information about their inquiring process for their store card which was disputed & later remove from credit report. So sale associate reassured me that this wouldnt be hard, but a soft credit to determine a line credit for their store card ( aka XXXX XXXX issuer XXXX XXXX ). Also stated that I already had XXXX ( which as used for purchase on XX/XX/XXXX ) card. But I was convince & mislead to believe otherwise ; that would be a soft credit instead of hard credit. So reluctantly applied for & was told that I will receive a letter via mail with a decision in response to inquiry. So to my dismay & surprise that it was in fact a hard inquiry happen apply which lead suspect she do retail store card, but store visa/master credit card which uses consider a hard inquiry. I already reached to XXXX XXXX as well as all three credit bureaus about this incident that took place with to inquiring that was misinformed to me at the time. I was then told by XXXX issuer for XXXX XXXX card that they will process a compliant/investigation on my behalf as well as submitted it to all three bureaus to look into to get it resolved by removing off my credit reports. Since then after contact all three credit bureaus in order to follow up with about the incident regarding XXXX XXXX I wasnt reassured or confident that compliant would be taken seriously. Im even sure if there is a report on filed on my behalf about the misinformation & process to have inquiry removed. I think this incident should be further investigated & resolved in timely matter.
