Consumer Narrative
Academy Mortgage was my former mortgager. I refinance my loan and it was paid in full on the XX/XX/2021. My new lender does not require an escrow account and I've been waiting for a check from Academy Mortgage in the amount of {$5000.00}. I researched and learned that the lender is required to return these funds within 30 days of loan closing. To date, I've received nothing from Academy Mortgage and it has been 38 days since my loan was paid off. Every time I call, I get the same XXXX, " Your check is in the mail. ''
