I have been contacted by Asset Collections Inc @ XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX Oregon XXXX, by phone concerning a disputed debt with a Law firm that I used once and paid for in Full. The imperious man calling and leaving messages to me and my parents is named XXXX. I fired the Law firm and documented the conversations and the email communiques. First the Collection agency calls me repeatedly and by text and also called my Parents even though I am XXXX years old, Which is pretty low class. I had sent a registered letter to Asset Collection informing that the debt was disputed, that I owed the law firm nothing and to not contact me any further on this disputed debt. They are not stopping the harassment and are continuing to harass me now by mail. I believe they are violation the fair debt collection practices act by acting in such a reckless manner. I am in XXXX now am a single mother raising a XXXX XXXX XXXX son. I don't have job but do receive some child care monthly expenses.I don't understand why Collection agency 's can break the law and harrass people who Have no assets and only own a car, which I need to get around and raise my son.
