I was impacted by COVID and applied to forbearance to my primary and secondary mortgage on XX/XX/2020. My primary mortgage had no issue giving me forbearance immediately. However, my secondary mortgage company XXXX claims I did not apply on that date. I had applied via XXXX ( aka XXXX ) website on XX/XX/XXXX and have gotten a confirmation for forbearance. Two months went by with me thinking I was under forbearance like I have had with my primary mortgage until I realized something was wrong and the secondary mortgage was not under forbearance. I called them to try to correct this and they implied they would and I finalized my forbearance in XXXX. After selling my property I paid off both loans. However XXXX has reported XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX as 30 days late. If they had not failed on their end, I would have been under forbearance and would not have these two damaging items on my credit report.
