I am a victim of identity Theft. Someone got hold to my person information and Social security number. I believe it happened during the XXXX data breach or the Experian data Breach i am not sure. I sent Experian and XXXX a FTC report, report number XXXX regrading a fraudulent XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX Account # XXXX reporting on my Experian and XXXX consumer report. I have no knowledge of this account. I did not open up this account. Experian and XXXX refused to block the account as stated under the FCRA section 605B Block of information resulting from identity theft [ 15 U.S.C. 1681c-2 ]. Experian and XXXX stated the account was verified, and declined to block this account. I am the consumer and i am the only person that can verify an account. No one else can verify an account that's in my name. So I need this account removed immediately. If Experian and XXXX refuses to block this account, I want to know how this fraudulent account was verified, what method of verification was use, who verified that this information was accurate. Experian and XXXX has not sent me any of that information as they should under 609 of the FCRA, but yet they are furnishing and reporting a fraudulent account to third parties. Also, as a consumer I have a right to privacy under the FCRA. Section 602 " Congressional findings and statement of purpose '' [ 15 U.S.C. 1681 ] ( 4 ) states : " There is a need to insure that consumer reporting agencies exercise their grave responsibilities with fairness, impartiality, and a respect for the consumers right to privacy. '' Experian and XXXX is violating my right to privacy plus they are furnishing an inaccurate consumer report.
