Consumer Narrative
I received an alert on my credit report a few days ago that I had a medical collection debt that I do not recogonize and it caused my score to decrease by more than 38 points. I'm in the process of trying to get mortgage as I'm trying to be a first time home buyer. This is too stressful as I'm already dealing with the reporting agencies ignoring my request now I have this collecton appear out of no where. I never received any notice in the mail or anything to even even verfiy if this alleged debt even belongs to me
