We never received our XXXX credit card statement from Capitol One due to the dismantling of the US Postal Service initiated by the Trump Administration. Capitol One is a major contributor to the XXXX XXXX in general and the Trump administration in particular, so they share in the responsibility for what is happening at the USPS. When we were able to view the statement a {$25.00} late fee had been charged as well as a {$13.00} interest fee. We contacted Capitol One and made immediate arrangements to pay after having the fees were waived by a bank associate. Today I checked my Capitol One statement online because once again the statement has not arrived. Once again the bank has assessed a {$4.00} interest fee which they said is due to last months late payment. I called Capitol One and this time they have refused to waive the fee. They also refused to provide contact information for higher level management to appeal to. I have no recourse but to file a complaint with the CFPB. I have an excellent credit rating and I refuse to submit to extortion. I am appealing for your help with this because not receiving my statement was totally out of my control.
