In 2019 I was going to XXXX XXXX with XXXX in XXXX, CT. At some point my insurance changed and I provided the receptionist with my XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX insurance card. Months later I received a bill from XXXXXXXX XXXX ( XXXX ) and I contacted them multiple times explaining that I had provided my insurance information and do not owe a bill. After multiple calls and disturbing conversations with the supervisor over the billing department I contacted XXXX XXXX. XXXX conducted an investigation and determined that the provider XXXX XXXX/ XXXX failed to submit the claim timely and that the patient ( myself ) was not responsible. I also contacted American Adjustment Bureau ( creditor ) once I saw that this situation was not rectified and now on my credit report and they stated that the amounts on the file show that the hospital charged it at a discount amount of a cash paying patient. I explained the situation to the creditor American Adjustment Bureau and they refused to remove it. I then put in a claim to XXXX and XXXX and their investigation report is stating that I am responsible despite the proof I provided from XXXX. I am not responsible for this bill and need it removed from my credit report.
