I was given an insurance check that needs the banks endorsement before we can get our roof fixed. Freedom Mortgage told us that it was a 7-10 day process unless we paid to over night the check and sent a prepaid over night return envelope with it. We paid for the overnighting because we actively have water coming into our home doing more damage every time it rains. We overnighted the check on Monday XX/XX/XXXX and they received it on the XXXX. Today is the XXXX and we still have not received the check back and the tracking number says that they havent even mailed it. I have talked to numerous reps and all show the check received, in processing, account in good standing, and that it should simply be a rubber stamp and returned. I spoke with a manager on XX/XX/XXXX named XXXX that said she would find out what the problem was and call me back by the end of the day. I have not heard anything from her. Freedom Mortgage has been terrible and misleading in this process. As much money as we pay them and the amount of vested interested they have in our home they should bending over backwards to ensure it is taken care of.
