MIDLAND FUNDING has continued to harass me for weeks even after I have told them to stop contacting me. In accordance with 15 U.S. Code 1692c - Communication in connection with debt collection they are not supposed to contact me without my prior consent which I have not given them, they are currently in violation of this statute. They also continue to contact me at unusual time and places such as this week when I was attending a funeral. This is also still violating 15 usc 1692c. When they call me they instantly tell me that I owe them a debt which is not paid for, and communicated with me more than once after i requested that they not contact me anymore. This is a violation of 15 U.S. Code 1692b ( 2 ) which states that a debt collector may not state that such consumer owes any debt.
