I was browsing the various options for products on credit karma and viewed a product for a title loan with a company called XXXX XXXX XXXX. I was simply looking because it had said I was pre-approved for a loan so I was simply curious about what I'm currently eligible for since I am trying to raise my credit to purchase a home. I did not authorize any formal request and did not authorize for any company to check my credit. A few minutes after leaving the page, I checked my email only to find a notice of denial for credit from a company called " Net Credit ''. I sent an email to their support team advising that I made no such request, and that I would like my information removed from their files. I am filing a formal complaint because this was not even the company who's product I was viewing, nor did at any time did I request any product from any company that would require a credit check. XXXX XXXX should be made aware of these shady products on their site where simply clicking on a pre-approved offer lands you with a hard inquiry on your report by a company you've never even heard of.
